Sometimes the most interesting ideas emerge when we step beyond our comfort zone and start looking at familiar problems from a completely different perspective.
In this interactive 90-minute workshop, you will experiment with a temperature-sensitive robot that reacts to changes in its environment. As the robot responds to heat and cold, you will explore how people, communities, and technologies adapt to different climates, from tropical conditions in Vietnam to Arctic winters in Finland.
Along the way, you will discover how curiosity, observation, experimentation, and creativity can transform everyday challenges into innovation opportunities. You will also see how students in Oulu apply these same principles to create projects, technologies, and solutions that help people stay safe, comfortable, active, and connected throughout the year.
No programming experience is required. Bring your curiosity, imagination, and willingness to explore something new.
In this hands-on workshop, you will:
