Show, Grow & Go Pro – Inspiration from Finland

Are you a high school or university student interested in ICT or engineering?

Join this free 90-minute interactive workshop to discover how hobbies, projects, volunteering, sports, gaming, arts, and part-time jobs can help shape your future study and career opportunities in ICT.

Many students think employers only care about grades and work experience. In reality, the activities you enjoy outside the classroom often reveal valuable skills, interests, and potential.

In this hands-on workshop, you will:

Identify your strengths and interests in a new way

Learn how employers evaluate potential in Finland

Connect hobbies and personal interests to future study and growth opportunities

See inspiring student projects presented by a Computer Science and Engineering student from the University of Oulu

Reflect on what you would like to learn and develop beyond your coursework

Whether you already have a clear direction or are still exploring your future, this workshop will help you recognise your strengths, discover new areas you might be excited to develop, and see how different interests and skills can connect to ICT study and career opportunities.

Participation is free. Join us to gain fresh inspiration, learn from real student experiences, and take the next step in shaping your own path in ICT.
